Quinoa is referred to as the "little rice of Peru" and the Incas would call it the "mother of all grains". This super food is technically not a grain as it actually belongs to the same family as spinach. It is loaded with protein and much lighter than other grains. Some people substitute quinoa for rice, pasta, oats and other grains. I can't blame them because it tastes good, fills you up and it offers great benefits to the body.

Following quinoa instructions for preparing and cooking is not difficult at all. One thing you don't want to miss though when preparing it is rinsing it well. A lot of first timers complain about how bad quinoa tastes. Yeah it tends to be so bitter if you do not rinse it well.

Place the grains in a strainer or a cheesecloth and place under running water for a few minutes. I usually rinse mine for 4 minutes or until the water does not come out sudsy anymore. This is one of the most important quinoa instructions that you have to follow to remove saponin. This is actually the substance that keeps the birds from eating the crop.

To cook the grains, the usual ratio that most people use is 1 cup of quinoa is to 2 cups of water. You can use a rice cooker so it will be easier, you'll know it's cooked when the water is fully absorbed. If you are using a saucepan, cooking time is approximately 15 minutes. You can mix quinoa with just about anything and you can browse various recipes online. Make sure you follow the correct quinoa instructions to get the results and taste that you want.

Southwest England boasts a classic in small town Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, England. The town also sits near the junction of the Fosse Way, once a historic Roman road that ran through the region. Additionally, it lies at the extreme edge of the Cotswold Hills range, in an extremely flat portion of the area. It contributed to the nation's WWII effort by hosting a Royal Air Force airfield in the same location.

Moreton-in-Marsh has made valuable use of the regionally-famous Cotswold stone in the construction of many of its buildings. When the stone ages over time, it takes on a soft golden tone to its facing. With a history going back over a thousand years to the Saxon era in England. Because of its proximity to the Cotswolds, it makes for a good base from which to go out and explore the surrounding areas.

Moreton-in-Marsh is easily accessible from London, with a major roadway nearby. It also has the benefit of its own railway station, which runs direct from Paddington, in central London. There are several nice hotels and restaurants around the town, making it an excellent tourist stop for a day or even longer.

An interesting geological note is that the areas around the town seem to have been the stopping point of the southernmost advance of ice during the last Ice Age. Also of note, Moreton-in-Marsh, like many English towns, originally grew up around a church. In this case, the town developed outward from a spot still known as 'Old Town.' Its original market was begun under charter of King Charles I in 1637.

The county in which Moreton-in-Marsh resides is Gloucestershire. It's a historic county, first mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon chronicle of the 10th century. With a population of nearly 840,000 people, it also is noted for the number and quality of ancient castles which dot the region. Tourists roaming through southwestern England will have an interesting time in both the town and the county.

Dear viewers. Googoosh's origins is from Sarab which is an Azerbaijanian city controlled by the Iranian regime. (Googoosh: Men inca hemshehri darem? Then she starts singing an Azerbaijanian song called Separation AYRILIQ... Deep inside I believe that she loves Azerbaijan, even though she says she is Iranian) The past year after the election in Iran, many joined together to lead a demonstration against the Iranian regime. Many civilians Iranians and Azerbaijanians were killed. As we see in this video Googoosh sings this song for IRAN, which in her eyes is her motherland. Many other big Iranians and Iranians with Azerbaijanian origins has been singing song like these to show their supports to the movement. (Azerbaijanis have never ever been minorities in Iran. Iran is an Azerbaijani nation. Persians are minorities. ) There are 30 million Azerbaijanians living under Iran control, which has no rights. On May 22, 2006, over 3 million Azerbaijanian demonstrated peacefully against the Iranian government. This was the first time for very long, that Azerbaijanian living in Iran demonstrated against the Iranian government. The reason to this was that a newspaper name "IRAN" printed a caricature drawing of Azerbaijanians. NOBODY WANTED TO HEAR THEIR VOICES, NO ONE!!! NOT A SINGLE MEDIA OR A NATION TOLD IRAN TO GIVE THE AZERBAIJANIAN MINORITY IN IRAN THEIR RIGHTS. What our people wanted was JUSTICE and FREEDOM from a government that has been discriminating us for many years. We as ...

Ananau is a famoused song of he American Indians. The language is Quechua. I have wrote this arrangement especially for the Ocarina (in C) with guitar accompaniment. The guitar-solo is new. I could transcribe the original after hearing but 1. I respect the original and 2. I have tried to stay in the old style. Lyrics: Ananau, ananau Nispaniwashkanky Ñuqallapiñam chay ña wiky. Ananau, ananau Nispaniwashkanky Wiñaypaqchum ñuqa qawasqaiky May runallam kakuchkanky Kaycunallapy waqanaypaq. Wañuptyqa ñakawanky Manam munanichu chay pasayta. A simple translation you can find in my video. PS link to the original: www.youtube.com
